I am a professionally qualified engineer and senior executive with a successful record of accomplishments in the commercial, technical and operational performance of one of the world’s leading confectionery manufacturers.
For the past sixteen years I have worked as an independent consultant following a career of nearly forty years in the confectionery industry. I have extensive experience in the technical and commercial aspects of confectionery and useful experience in the food industry in general.
One of my key specialities is developing manufacturing processes for new and existing products and designing the manufacturing facilities to produce them. I have also worked in business development, manufacturing reconfiguration and the evaluation of mergers and aquisitions opportunities, which has allowed me to develop techniques for examining competitiveness and profitablity
My career has also given me the opportunity to work in both large and small businesses all over the world, including some facing particular issues of culture change.
